Patient (A) denied taking the cards and then alleged patient (B) punched him on the arm. Patient (A) reported he received a bruise on his right arm and staff observed a bruise to the right arm. No treatment was required and neither resident reported they were fearful of one another. No staff witnessed the alleged physical assault, but did witness the previous incident with the cards. Patient (B) denied the allegation of striking patient (A) and staff report patient (A) had a history of false reporting. Patient (B) was placed on assault I precautions.
